German Shepherd puppy: Need beginer's obediance training tips?

My pup is 9 weeks old. I’d like to get an early start on the basics (lay down, stay, sit, shake) of obeying orders. I want the most simple, and effective ways to teach her. I’ve worked with pomeranians and was very successful in teaching them any trick I could think of. But the 2 breeds are very different, and I have never tried past sit with a bigger dog. I would like to hear other’s opinion on the breed and training it.

My pup: She is very smart. We have her sitting on command, and when she’s doing something wrong (like chewing on something other than her toys) a sharp "Ahhck!" stops her immediately. She is nearly house trained already, but Terrified of the dark so walking at night is a problem (need help with that too, if there is anything that can help). She sleeps in her own crate, but wakes it the night, needing to go out (probably because not wanting to go out after dark). Trying to treat train, but nipping the food out of my hand when the food is close to her is starting to change my mind. Might have to keep with just praise and petting as reward. Over all the problems arn’t big. But would like any help I can get.

How do you feel about dog clothes?

While putting on a warm coat to keep your pup warm, is acceptable, have you ever just bought a t-shirt for your pup? I’m seeing so much available for dogs, it is hard not to resist! Do you do holiday pictures with "antlers"? What do you think is acceptable?

What is basic obediance training you need to teach dogs, and how do you teach them?

I have an eight week old pup, and I’d like to teach her basic obedience things, so that (even though I would not) I could keep her off the leash and have a well behaved puppy that listens to what I (and others) say.
She’s a beagle/Jack Russel mix , so she’s a bit wild.
Links/sites that go in depth would be helpful. :]
I’d like to do the training myself. I’ve known dogs who’ve gone to obedience school, and I find that training them by yourself, is a much more rewarding experience for the dog/human.

Best place to buy toy breed dog clothes?

I’ve been buying a lot of clothes for my miniature pinscher online at eBay, but does anyone know of a cheap online store that sells cute clothes for toy breed dogs? My pup gets cold really easy and shivers a lot, so she’s almost always wearing something. A lot of online pet clothing stores charge you more for their clothes than you would pay for your own!

aggressive dog?

He is 1 year old. We’ve had him since 10 weeks old.

He is People aggressive, dog aggressive, food aggressive, and cat aggressive.

He is very friendly towards us, and is very playful with my other dogs when he wants to be, but he is unpredictable.

When he meets new people he growls, and runs away cautiously looking back at the person, & then will bark very loudly.

When cornered by someone he does not know, he will bite.

I do not know what to do with him anymore.. I’ve tried lots of things. Neutering.. obedience training.. seperating, socializing.. more attention, prong collar, but he hangs his head down very low to the ground with that.. so I don’t use it for him.

Trainers refuse to work with him as they fear for themselves and others in the training sessions.

Rescues won’t take him because he is not purebred german shepherd.. and because he is aggressive.

My female Siberian husky NEVER used to be food aggressive, but ever since he came, now she has to be seperated as well.
I’ve taken him around a lot of people when he was a pup for socialization, but for some reason as he started getting bigger he stopped liking new people.

And like I said before he gets along with my other dogs when he wants to.. but is unpredictable..

Quite a few times he has gotten into bad fights with my female Siberian husky.

She is spayed and he is neutered. She was here first before him. People said all he was doing was establishing dominace, and not to worry about it.

Well I do worry about it because he has attacked her so many times already a lot of times over nothing! other times over food!

We keep them seperated now but before it would be horrible! I’d come home to see them standing up on their hind legs just going at eachother! fur standing up, drool all over eachother!
It was hard to break them up.

This dog belongs to my boyfriend, he does not live with me, but I agreed to take Ozzy in because he couldn’t keep him where he lives.
BUT when I took Ozzy in I did not know
he would turn out this way, as he was a puppy when I took him in.

I was trying to help out my boyfriend by giving Ozzy a place to stay, and I’ve done that.

But it’s getting to the point to where I can’t handle him anymore.

What do I do with him??

I’ve already tried training but no trainer wants to take him on. They and about 3 vets have all suggested to put him down.
But my boyfried cries when I suggest it.

I told him "then take him with you.. I can’t have him around my dog anymore, he has almost turned her like him now! he bites the back of her legs, and attacks her when she walks by, its awful now she hates being touched in the leg area she almost bit the vet when she was giving her a shot! and you’re never here enough to see everything which is why you disagree, but I don’t know what else to do with him, if you love him that much take him back to your house!"

But all he says is he can’t because where he lives there is a 2 pet limit, and he already has 1 other dog and a cat.

He told me "Do what you have to do, but don’t tell me about it..please." and then he walked off crying.

I feel terrible, but then on the other hand I have this mean aggressive dog in my backyard terrorizing my dog.
He is not purebred German Shepherd he is mixed with Collie.

My boyfriend got him from some lady giving away puppies at a target store. According to him what she said was the parents had great temperments.
And i’ve tried finding him another home.

Someone who would be willing to deal with him, and has experience with this kind of behavior but no one wants to take him.

Also if I did give him away to another home, and he attacked them, he’d get destroyed, and I’d be sued big time. That’s the warning the vet gave me, and so did the trainers.
I am willing to give him another chance, but if in the end it doesn’t work out and he is still the same as he is now.. should I take him in?
Ozzy’s microchip info is registered to my boyfriend’s name in his city. I live in a different city 10 minutes away. Would my boyfriend have to go with me to drop him off at the pound? As he does not want to go with me if it comes to that. But if Ozzy is registered in another city to his name, would he have to be there to confirm owner drop off?

But that is only if it comes to it.
